Military honours were rendered for the inaugural visit of President Peter Pellegrini of Slovakia to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.The honourary battalion is led by the deputy commander of the guard battalion,LTCOL Sven Ueberschaer.The Bundeswehr Music Corps Siegburg is under the command of LTCOL Weiper.By popular request,the video was filmed from a unique perspective,including the experience of the Berlin tourist.It begins with the unfurling of the unit colours at the guard post of the Federal President's Office.We then accompany the entire march out from the guard post to Bellevue Palace.The video continues with the arrival of the delegations;the arrival of the guest;the national anthems;the reviewing of the troops;and the entire march out of the honourary formation.The video conveys unique details,including the grandeur of Bellevue Palace;the mounted police;and the role of the drum major.The honourary battalion is comprised of all three Bundeswehr branches:the German Army,German Navy and Luftwaffe.German language.Some different marches are played.
