Military honours were rendered for the inaugural visit of President Vahagn Khachaturian of Armenia to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.The video shows the march in of the honour guard;the arrival of the guest;the national anthems;the review of the troops;the march out ot he honour guard;the greeting of the delegation and the march out of the honour guard.The honour guard consists of all three Bundeswehr branches:German Army,German Navy and Luftwaffe.The honour battalion is under the commander of the guard battalion,LTCOL Maik Teichgraber.The Bundeswehr Staff Music Corps plays under the direction of LTCOL Klauka.Before the ceremony,President Steinmeier greeted two members of the German Navy on their birthday.*Armenia has broken with its previous neutrality toward the Ukraine War and is no longer siding with Moscow.
