ICON: Takeoff of L-1011 Stargazer Aircraft - 10 October 2019 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station,the Iconospheric Connection Explorer was launched from the Stargazer Aircraft on a Pegasus XL rocket.It will explore the ionosphere,the uppermost layer of the atmosphere,where it meets outer space.
