More than 80 US female service members have been killed in the Global War on Terror since the 9-11 attacks. The latest,Chief Cryptolgic Technician Shannon M. Kent,of Pine Plains,New York,was a linguist fluent in seven languages.Her unit is integrated with the Department of Defense National Security Agency at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.Several of the NSA's personnel have died in service to the nation.
